The managers of this very large school and sixth form wanted certain areas of the building repainted to keep its busy and lively environment smart, fresh and attractive. Having developed an excellent working relationship with the Academy over many years, the school turned to RJN Decorating once again to deliver a great job within a tight timeframe.
How we helped
The Academy asked us to prepare and repaint their reception area, corridors and main sports hall. They wanted practical and hardwearing paint products and timing was crucial: all work had to be completed during the school holidays to avoid any disruption to the students’ education. We identified that an acrylic eggshell coating would perfectly fit our client’s brief and brought in mobile tower scaffolding and hydraulic lift equipment to access the high-level areas of the corridors and sports hall. Specialist equipment like this also demands a trained workforce, and we deployed our PASMA-certified and IPAF-licensed decorators wherever appropriate. The tight deadline combined with the considerable size of the sports hall made spray painting an ideal technique for delivering a fast and professional result. For a flawless finish, all surfaces which were not to be painted were meticulously masked and protected.
